Nightlife in Zhangjiajie is never dull. Endless recreational activities enable both visitors and locals enjoy their night time in the city. Eating snacks in the night market or dining at restaurants are common night activities in Zhangjiajie.

SNACK STREETS
At night, the streets of Zhangjiajie are full of vendors selling barbecue and local snacks, such as Rice Balls in Rice Wine Soup, Bean curd, grilled dried Tofu, Grilled Beef Skewers, Grilled Mutton Skewers, Tujia Spicy Radish and pickled vegetables. Strolling along the streets and enjoying the local cuisine provides visitors with another opportunity to explore and experience the city.

PERFORMANCES
Wulingyuan Scenic Area and Charming Western Hunan Theater are the two perfect places to see the folk singing and dancing performances. Two big plays, “Charming Western Hunan” and “Dream Zhangjiajie,” with all the actors coming from the local Tujia and Miao families, give people a chance to see the soul of Zhangjiajie.

DRINKS
The Tujia people have a well-regarded wines produced from many different ingredients, such as Rice Wine and Corn Wine, among others.
